With these Epic Games Store backend listings, it seems likely that Final Fantasy Remake and Alan Wake Remastered will soon be revealed for PC. Alan Wake is an old game by today's standards, and many gamers would like to replay the game on modern consoles with enhanced visuals. Remedy is reportedly working on a sequel to Alan Wake, and if a sequel is in the works, it is also likely that a remake of Alan Wake is also in the works. Additionally, a 2020 trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Remake also featured gameplay captured on a gaming PC, confirming that a PC build of the game was available. This means that Xbox and PC versions of the game can be released sometime in the future. While Square Enix has not revealed Final Fantasy 7 Remake outside of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, the game has always been listed as a timed exclusive for PlayStation platforms. With this in mind, it makes sense for Square Enix to continue this relationship with Final Fantasy 7 Remake and for Remedy to continue this relationship with Alan Wake Remastered. We already know that Epic Games has a strong relationship with both Square Enix and Remedy, having previously released the Kingdom Hearts series and Control as Epic Games exclusives. Thanks to Wario64 on Twitter, we have learned that Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Alan Wake Remastered have appeared on the backend of the Epic Games Store, revealing that both games may soon be revealed for PC.
